Shivon Ramadhin

LCSW(she/her)

As a somatic psychotherapist and first-generation Indo-Trinidadian American, I offer culturally affirming therapy for people of color navigating complex trauma, identity exploration, and relationships. My journey has been shaped by the rich complexities of belonging — particularly within Caribbean and South Asian immigrant communities. I create a space where your lived experiences are seen and respected, without having to explain every part of who you are.

I also work with interracial and intercultural couples navigating differences in upbringing, values, and family expectations. My approach bridges personal healing and broader systemic change, honoring the unique challenges faced by communities of color.

I combine somatic experiencing, psychodynamic therapy, and trauma-informed approaches in my work.
